I’ve seen a bunch of people get their Instagram accounts hacked lately. To keep your account safe, make sure to set up two-factor authentication. And while you’re at it, take note of your recovery codes which can help you if you do get locked out of your account. Write them down and put them somewhere safe (i.e. somewhere you can remember!)
P.S. If it’s been a while since you last changed your password, maybe do that too? :-)
