This is exciting, something I’ve been looking forward to for quite a while! Telling you this: I’m working on a book! Not self-published this time, but with a proper publisher and editor and the whole deal!
I’ve been keeping this under wraps for the past 6-8 months or so! Which is no mean feat because if there’s fun and exciting things afoot I want to share them – not keep them a secret! But I can finally say it: I’m writing a book! :-)
The photo is from some of my sketching sessions. Colours are a necessity for the sketches – and for the things that will ultimately go in the book.
I can’t reveal exactly what the book will be about, but you can probably guess that it’s something to do with stitching! It will be out autumn next year (unless things change, because sometimes they do and stuff..).
So if things go a bit quiet from time to time over the next six month (deadline is middle of September!), well, I’m probably buried under a pile of embroidery thread and fabric. :-)
