I could have sworn I’d never do any paper piecing because it just seems like such slow work! But then Julie showed how fast it is to make hexagons and ever since then I’ve been hooked on hexies. Hexagon obsessed!
I’m going to use some of my Denyse Schmidt stash to make a hexie quilt. Although it will be kinda slow going until next year when I get most of the stash back. I had to vacuum pack it, and most of my fabric stash, earlier this year… So until next year I’ll just make a few hexies here and there. There’s no hurry!
It’s kinda nice to have a project that it just.. there… That can’t be finished in a hurry. I do like instant craft gratification, but slow is good too..
