I turned my hexagons into a little pouch – to hold future hexie projects! To square off the hexagon panel, I made some half hexagons using a green Denyse Schmidt print. Makes a nice contrast with all the pinks and oranges on the pouch.

I lined it with orange cotton and finished it off with this awesome lace edge zip. It is a really bright neon green. I love it. It’s an excellent contrast to the rest of the colours. ;-)

Lace edge zips used to be hard to find but now you can get them in several places. I bought these from Plush Addict. The one I used for the pouch is called Acid Green. The other one is Grass Green. They have loads of different colours of these zips.

And since I was already paying for postage, some FQs may also have found their way into my order. Despite my self imposed ban on buying fabric at the moment…… :-)
