My new pattern, Lollipop Gingerbread House is in the shop right now.
I know, Christmas still seams an awful long time away. Especially on a day like this: I had my lunch in the garden, just in a t-shirt and with bare feet! Yes, I did wear jeans.. ;-)
But Christmas *is* looming and it’s time to get your festive craft on. I should probably do that too…
I have wanted to make a gingerbread house pattern for a long time, not sure why I haven’t made one before. They are so fun and colourful! Maybe it’s because I’ve never made an actual edible gingerbread house. And it’s not something I grew up with. So I must admit that I felt a bit…hmmm.. nervous, perhaps, about drawing one. But then I thought I’d just go for it. Imagine how I would decorate a gingerbread house.
And this is the result. My little imaginary gingerbread cottage. I really love it! :-)
I decided I didn’t want to go too Christmas on the colours I used. In stead they are more inspired by candy and all their crazy, sugar-y colours.
And I have put this pattern together with my Gingerbread Christmas Joy pattern in a set. Buy the two patterns together and save money for floss. ;-)
