On Wednesday I went to London to see the Tower Poppies before they are removed. I went early in the morning because it gets really crowded. It wasn’t too bad when I arrived just before 9 am, but when I left about half an hour later it was already getting busy…
Compared to how the Poppies looked in August, it is really striking now. And if look at aerial views, it looks like the Tower moat is full of blood.
Lest we forget…
I happened to spot them opening a batch of poppies…
These individual memorial were really moving. The wooden crosses had names and dates scribbled on them..
And I spotted these ones in bushes surrounding the Moat. Almost completely hidden away…
