More leaves today. It is autumn after all! :-)
When I walked Blake the other morning it was very windy and leaves were cascading from the trees. It was beautiful! So I wanted to do a little stitchery with leaves. It looks nothing like the area we live in of course, it’s completely imaginary… I love the shape of leaves and all the different colours in autumn.
I didn’t have a plan for this before starting it; I knew I wanted to include leaves and then I just started pulling scraps of fabric to see what would work. Maybe it doesn’t work as well as I had hoped, but I enjoyed making it and sometimes that is the best reason to make something. :-)
