I got some stitching done and the first pattern in the November Mandala Stitchalong is coming along nicely. I really like the Scandiwegian feel of this one. It is working up quite quickly too since I’m using mostly back stitch. I love fancy embroidery stitches but I also really love the simple rhythm of back stitch. I find it very…soothing. Almost meditative. Just do one stitch, and then the next one and the one after that. And before you know it, a wee blue star has ben completed. :-)
