I came across this Realistic Paper Cut Illustrations in Procreate class on Skillshare by Lisa Bardot and it looked fun so I thought I’d try it. It is fun and I’ve enjoyed spending some time making some digital paper cut pieces. It’s been fun to learn how to create this effect but in the process I’ve also learnt some more Procreate tools and that’s been really great. Sometimes learning something new teaches you lessons you didn’t know you were looking for. :-)
The text in the image above means ‘don’t worry’ in Scottish Gaelic. So it’s combining two things I’m currently learning. :-)
Since the Peace in Ukraine pattern is quite simple, I thought I’d have a go at turning that into a digital paper cut too. I really like how it turned out!
