Foggy Winter Frost

On Sunday morning I went for a little walk in the frosty, foggy winter landscape. I thought I’d take some pictures of pretty frost covered leaves or something but I didn’t expect all the beautiful spiders webs. Covered in tiny ice crystals. Like lace made of silver threads… And berries and the odd flower… I am glad I braved the cold and took this time to just look at nature in this rare cold spell..

A narrow lane with trees on both sides, covered in frost. In the distance the trees are bowing together over the lane.

Mottled green and orange oak leaves edged with frost.

Tiny red berries and leaves form a natural wreath around a finely detailed frosty covered spiders web.

Large yellow daisies encrusted with pearls of frost.

Ohhh, that 4th pic with the ring of tiny red and green leaves… so beautiful!
